Wine tasting notes

This wine is pale straw in colour with green tints. Showing a sense of nervosity on the nose, it has intense aromas of lemon/lime citrus with a fl oral lift, and complex undertones of mandarin, quandong, tangelo and rosehip. The palate is very focused and directed with a razor sharp acid backbone showing massive fruit fl avour concentration and refreshing mouth feel. Also on the palate is a blend of traditional and unorthodox fl avours of lemon citrus, bath salts, minerality, honeydew melon and banana.

Vinification notes

We selected individual rows where the terra rossa and loam barely cover the deep limestone below. To guarantee the freshness of these precious grapes, we carefully picked batches to precisely fi ll our membrane press in the chill of night, and destemmed the bunches without crushing them. Only the fi nest 40% of the juice was used in this pristine, intense, beautifully citric Riesling.
