Wine tasting notes
A lovely salmon-pink colour, this Rosato is fresh and crisp, with a delicious strawberry perfume which gives way to a vibrant cherry character on the palate. A savoury note adds depth, and lively acidity gives the wine a fresh, crisp finish. Ripe strawberry perfumes linger on the palate.

These elegantly presented wines are made by Matt Thomson at Cantina di Monteforte from fruit which is declassified from Soave Classico status and offer superb quality at this price. Verona
Vinification notes
The Pinot Grigio grapes are a copper colour when ripe. In order to retain the `coppery` colour, the skins are left in contact with the juice for about 18 hours in order to give the wine this attractive tint. The juice is then fermented at a low temperature (about 15°C) in stainless steel to retain the subtle aromatic characters of the grape.
