Tasting Note

Pronounced minerality and appealing citrus, raw almond and green apple notes. Well-balanced with a bright acidity, there is an underlying essence of butter on the fine, mineral cut finish

Product Notes

Philippe Colin's Chassagne-Montrachet wine is a quintessentially Burgundian masterpiece, illustrating the exquisite qualities expected from this region. It displays an inviting pale golden hue, with complex aromas incorporating flinty minerality, delicate honey, fresh citrus and ripe pear notes. The palate is elegant and well-balanced, intertwining succulent fruit intensity with sophisticated undertones of vanilla and butter from oak ageing. This French Chardonnay is notable for its lingering, smooth finish, and its ability to mature gracefully over time, becoming increasingly complex and multifaceted. It makes a fine accompaniment to seafood or poultry dishes. An impressively refined and understated expression of Chassagne-Montrachet terroir.
