Product Notes

Anthonij Rupert L'Ormarins Blanc de Blancs MCC is an elegant South African wine featuring 100% Chardonnay grapes, exclusively harvested from the L'Ormarins estate. This exquisite Brut displays notes of fresh lemon curd, Granny Smith apples, and toasty brioche, offering a harmonious blend of intensity and delicacy. Aged for a minimum of four years before release, it provides a rich, creamy mousse, with a lingering, crisp finish. This sophisticated MCC wine is excellent served as an aperitif or alongside seafood delicacies. A testament to South African wine craftsmanship, it's a true embodiment of the Anthonij Rupert philosophy of quality and luxury.

Tasting Notes

As fresh as a sea breeze, with sea shells initially before grapefruit. A subtle hint of perfume makes their presence obvious on the nose. The palate is lip-smackingly taut, zesty and crisp on entry. Bright and fresh with tangy lemon- and grapefruit vivacity - that then makes way for riper, fleshier fruit – generous orange, apple- and stone fruit flavour. The wine then broadens out on the mid-palate with a creamier, fuller-bodied richness taking over before it tightens once more with a defined, dry and crisp tail.

About the Winery

Anthonij Rupert
