About the Winery

Comando G

Tucked away in the mountain ranges of Sierra de Gredos, resides an exceptional winery named Comando G; a gem that artfully combines tradition and innovation. Renowned for their extraordinary granitic wines, Comando G is tantamount to Spain’s natural, organically grown wine industry.

The name 'Comando G' is pilfered from a popular Japanese animated series. Here, 'G' symbolises Grenache, the grape indigenous to this region, from which these splendid wines are derived. Unwavering in their commitment to sustainability, the bountiful vineyards are tended to with utmost care. No chemical fertilisers are used; adherence to the principles of biodynamic farming is held sacrosanct.

Each ethereal bottle of wine produced by Comando G is a testament to their love for the land. The vintners, Daniel Landi and Fernando Garcia, are childhood friends who share the dream and passion for creating exquisite wines that encapsulate the nuanced essence of the terroir. Their uncanny ability to tease out its ethereal essence has resulted in their wines garnering a loyal fanbase and high accolades worldwide.

Contrary to modern winemaking methods, the duo relies on old bush vines varying from 50 to 80 years. The vineyards, located a staggering 1,000 meters above sea level, are home to varied microclimates, giving way to diverse expressions in each bottle. Every vine is hand-harvested to ensure only the choicest of grapes result in “G”, their multifaceted soulful wine.

Comando G Winery blends seamlessly with the rustic beauty that cradles it. Visiting, you can't not be swept away by its charm and the stunning views that surround it on all sides. From the holistic farming methods, to the exquisite craftsmanship demonstrated in each bottle, Comando G is indeed a purveyor of fine wines that continue to captivate wine connoisseurs and eco-enthusiasts, alike.
