The grapes were harvested from mid-March to late March. Upon arrival at the winery they were destemmed and gently crushed. Cool pre-fermentation maceration was carried out to preserve the primary aromas, followed by traditional fermentation. Post-fermentation maceration followed lasting between 10 and 15 days to extract the desired level of flavour, colour and structure. The wine then went through malolactic fermentation, prior to being bottled.
