Product Notes

Anthonij Rupert Cape of Good Hope - Serruria Chardonnay is a tantalising South African wine that delights the senses. A well-balanced, refined wine, it bears intriguing hints of citrus, complemented by soft oak undertones. It impresses with its bright acidity and persistent mineral finish, indicative of its origin from the cool Elandskloof region. Decadently rich on the palate, flavours unravel gently, bringing a delightful intrigue to the drinking experience. Elegant and crisp, it's a Chardonnay that pairs perfectly with a seafood platter or a creamy poultry dish, making it a must-have for any wine connoisseur.

Tasting Notes

Inviting aromas of grapefruit, citrus and orange blossoms, tinged with honey and toast. The palate is rich, rounded and yet vibrantly alive with bright citrus flavours and oodles of orange blossom honey. Complex, elegant and statuesque with lovely restraint apparent in the supportive platform of oak. Creamy yet light and lively, the wine has a long aftertaste but a defined finish and good acidity.
