Tasting Note

Made from Palomino grapes, mainly from the Miraflores estate: one of Sanlúcar's most prestigious. Ageing and development is carried out in the coastal town of Sanlúcar de Barrameda, here the flor in the solara grows more quickly in the humid conditions, developing the flavours of this Fino Sherry into the town’s unique style. This Manzanilla has a pronounced freshness and saline savouriness, perfect as an aperetif with almonds and cured ham.

Product Notes

La Guita En Rama Manzanilla wine hails from the region of Sanlúcar de Barrameda in Spain. This light, dry white wine offers a delightful, complex taste profile brimming with notes of almond, apple, and briny sea spray. The wine is bottled without filtration, meaning it's an 'En Rama' style which ensures its natural characteristics remain intact. Having a marked savoury complexity and a long, fresh finish, this Manzanilla wine is best served chilled. A unique aspect of La Guita En Rama is the iconic 'little string' (la guita) tied around the bottle, paying homage to its cultural heritage.
