Product Notes

Barbadillo Pedro Ximénez "La Cilla" is a highly delectable Spanish sherry, bursting with rich, sweet flavours. This nectar-like wine unveils aromas of dried fruits, dates, and figs, intertwined with nuances of caramel and toasted coffee beans. Sourced from sun-dried Pedro Ximénez grapes, it undergoes a meticulous ageing process in American oak casks, amplifying its complexity. Tasting reveals an exquisite melange of treacle and molasses, graced by a pleasant acidity, ensuring a well-balanced palate. Its velvety texture and lingering finish make it an indulgent dessert wine, perfect with rich chocolate desserts or blue cheese. A luxurious spoil for sherry aficionados.

Tasting Notes

Very dark mahogany colour and aromas reminiscent of plums, raisins and chocolate against a background of noble oak. Velvety and sweet on the palate. Long finish with the predominant retro nasal aroma being that of raisins.
