Product Notes

The Taittinger Brut Réserve wine is a sublime masterpiece made from 40% Chardonnay, sourced from over 35 different vineyards. Aged for three to four years in Taittinger's cellars, this intricate blend provides a high-precision balance of finesse and aromatic intensity. With its lively golden yellow colour and fine, persistent bubbles, it offers a delightful aroma of peach and vanilla. The taste profile is fresh and vibrant, with a tantalising palate of citrus and white fruit flavours. A harmonious balance of the rich and the crisp positions Taittinger Brut Réserve as a versatile, crowd-pleasing Champagne.

About the Winery

Renowned as one of the world's foremost champagne houses, Taittinger Winery admirably embodies the panache and elegance associated with this delightful French elixir. Nestled in the historic city of Reims in France's Champagne region, the love for champagne-making echoes in every nook and cranny of this prestigious estate.

The history of Taittinger Winery dates back to the early 18th century making it a key player in the narrative of champagne cultivation and production, Indeed, this family-run business has stood the test of time, perfectly balancing tradition with innovation and remaining dedicated to producing an extensive portfolio of distinguished champagnes.

The Taittinger cellars housed 18 metres below the ground, lie in chalky Roman galleries and chambers that have been hewn out of the earth. Spanning over four kilometres, these cellars naturally maintain optimal conditions for ageing their precious champagne.

In the vineyards themselves, it's nothing short of a vibrant scene. Taittinger is committed to sustainable viticulture protecting the environment and maintaining the unique terroir in their lands. Their vineyards span over 288 hectares, encompassing over thirty different crus and set among the most remarkable sites in the region. These include Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs and Pinot Noir from the Montagne de Reims.

Notably, Taittinger distills a preference for Chardonnay with their signature cuvée, the Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blancs. This prestigious champagne hosts a timeless charm, blending complexity with graceful refinement.

With its enduring heritage and ceaseless dedication to quality, Taittinger Winery has truly carved out its niche in the world of champagne. Attending a Taittinger tasting or touring their historic cellars offers a captivating insight into the heart of champagne culture. It's a diverse and delightful experience; just as bubbly as the champagne itself!
