Reminiscent of a classic, full-bodied Rhône-style red, its robust cherry and plum flavours delve into underlying notes of spice and mocha. This wine presents a lively palette that is complimented by a hint of smokiness, evoking a rustic charm. Exceptionally well-balanced with an enduring finish, this vintage integrates plush tannins and firm structure effortlessly. Its sophistication exudes from the glass, adding charm to any occasion.
Tasting Notes
A dark, spicy Syrah-driven nose reminiscent of Cornas: teriyaki, black olive, eucalyptus and black plum. On the palate, meaty and juicy, with flavors of soy marinade, black raspberry, wood smoke and white pepper. The long, gently tannic finish lingers with black fruit and spice. Delicious now, but with the substance and balance to age for up to a decade
