Tasting Note

The nose is bursting with fruit, a promenade for the senses. Aeration amplifies the fruity character of tangerine, with a hint of lemon, and reveals a mineral note, as well as floral notes. The palate is full and delicate, with fine acidity. A beautifully pure, saline wine with a vertical profile and long persistence. A well-structured silhouette, supported by lovely fruit that finishes on a salivating finish with fine bitters.

Product Notes

The Domaine Albert Mann Riesling Cuvée Albert is a divine example of Alsatian wine. Renowned for its impeccable quality, it has an elegant, aromatic bouquet redolent with notes of green apple, citrus, and a hint of mineralilty. The palate is equally enticing, offering a beautifully balanced blend of vibrant acidity and ripe fruit flavours, with a long, crisp finish. A sustainable and organic production approach upholds viticulture traditions, enhancing the wine's thorough complexity. Exquisite to the connoisseur's palate, this Riesling is a brilliant accompaniment to fish, shellfish, or as a standalone aperitif.

About the Winery

Domaine Albert Mann

The Domaine Albert Mann winery is a family-owned estate located in Alsace, France. Since its establishment in 1654, each passing generation has contributed significantly to its success and development.

Surrounded by the remarkable Schlossberg, Furstentum, and Pfersigberg vineyards, Domaine Albert Mann vines enjoys an exceptional terroir. This 24-hectare winery represents a harmonious blend of traditions and innovation, painstakingly maintained by the brother duo, Maurice and Jacky Barthelmé. The brothers took over the reins of the winery in 1989, from their respective fathers-in-law, Albert Mann and Joseph Barthelmé - names that hold reverence in the annals of French viticulture.

In their pursuit of quality, the Barthelmé brothers have adhered to organic and biodynamic principles since 1997, to create an array of unique wines. Amongst its diverse portfolio, the winery is particularly famed for its Riesling, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, and Gewurztraminer varietals.
