This wine has aromas and flavours of red fruits blended with warm spices. The tannins are firm and well rounded. A long and elegant finish with a final spicy note on the palate.
The Jaboulet family started working the land in the Rhone region in 1834. The generations continued to succeed one another until Maison Paul Jaboulet Aine was acquired by the owners of Chateau La Lagune in Bordeaux, the Frey family, in 2006. The must was fermented slowly in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to extract colour and the right amount of ripe tannins, without becoming too powerful. The wine remained in tank until bottling.
