Product Notes

Campogrande Cinqueterre Bianco DOC wine is a refined Italian white wine originating from the Cinqueterre region in Italy. This exquisite wine takes on a beautiful pale yellow hue, offering an engaging aroma that boldly unveils notes of fresh fruits and flowers. Each sip provides a lovely balance, possessing a crisp acidity paired with delightful undertones of apple, pear and a hint of citrus. The Albarola and Bosco grapes give it a characteristic Mediterranean savour. Its clean finish makes it a splendid accompaniment for seafood dishes and creamy pastas. This wine is certainly a sophisticated selection for wine enthusiasts.

Tasting Notes

The color varies from light gold to straw yellow with subtle golden reflections. The perfume, intense and persistent, is slowly granted, opening on hints of Mediterranean scrub, mineral salts and citrus fruits. In the mouth it is rich, soft and tasty, supported by pleasant notes of flavor and freshness. Excellent ability to evolve.

About the Winery

Campogrande

Nestled in the scenic and tranquil heart of Italy’s Piedmont region lies the Campogrande winery. This magnificent vineyard has been cultivating sumptuous, high-quality wines for over a century, displaying an enduring commitment to excellence and tradition.

Campogrande’s sprawling estate spreads across 20 hectares of fertile land, blessed with a favourable climate and nutrient-rich soil. This perfect blend of natural elements produces a unique terroir, which distinguishes the characteristic flavour of the wines harvested here.

The winery’s crown jewel is its range of classic Italian wines, of these; the Barolo and Barbaresco are perennial favourites amongst oenophiles. These robust, complex wines encapsulate the traditional nuances of the region, lingering on the palate with an unparalleled depth of flavour. Moreover Campogrande’s Moscato is also in high demand - a delectable dessert wine with a fresh, fruity aroma that pairs fabulously with creamy cheeses and rich desserts.

What sets Campogrande apart from others is its ethos of sustainable viticulture. The winery practices organic farming, underscored by a deep respect for nature’s bounty? Chemical pesticides and fertilisers are shunned in favour of natural alternatives, ensuring that each bottle of wine embodies the purest flavours of the region.

Visitors to Campogrande are invited to embark on an immersive journey into the world of wine. Tours are offered showcasing the vineyard, the ageing cellars and the bottling process. The highlight of a visit to Campogrande, however, is the chance to partake in a wine-tasting, under the expert guidance of seasoned winemakers.
