Tasting Note
The blend of Cissac 2019 results in a wine that is highly expressive and fruit-driven on the nose, with the oak still remaining discreet at this stage. Black fruit and spice aromas dominate. The palate opens with a clean, generous attack, followed by a fine freshness that gives the wine focus, tension and precision. The ripe tannins are beautifully wrapped on the finish, and their concentrated power provides excellent length and persistence on the palate.
