Tasting Note

A rich and opulent wine with ripe blackcurrant aromas layered with notes of the garrigue and cistus flowers. Full bodied but with a soft texture on the palate; this wine retains the estate's characteristic elegance whilst embracing a modern style of winemaking. Ripe fruits combine with notes of cocoa and cherry and a hint of liquorice on the finish.

Product Notes

From the ancient and celebrated vineyards of Southern Rhône Valley, Domaine de la Solitude Châteauneuf-du-Pape Rouge is an unequivocal expression of rich terroir. Its deep ruby hue embodies the blend of Grenache, Mourvèdre, and Syrah grapes, offering a complex bouquet of ripe red fruits, blackcurrant, and subtle hints of sweet spice. Each sip reveals layers of blackberry, cherry, and peppery undertones. This French full-bodied red is exceptionally balanced, delivering a robust yet velvety feel with a persistently tantalising finish ensuring a lingering delight on the palate. It's an indulgent wine, perfect for both casual settings and special occasions.
