Product Notes

Bodega Aleanna El Enemigo Syrah Viognier is a sublimely elegant, Argentine blend, marrying the smoky richness of Syrah with the fresh, fragrant nuances of Viognier. Crafted with expertise, it exudes delightful notes of ripe black fruits, violets, and spices, balanced by subtle oak undertones. On the palate, this full-bodied, intense wine captivates with a layered complexity and velvety texture. It finishes beautifully long, with vibrant acidity and fine, well-integrated tannins. A true testament to its high-altitude terroir, this wine promises an aromatic journey, delivered within a refined, opulent style. Enjoy this wine's beguiling maturing potential or savour it now for its tantalising dynamism.

About the Winery

El Enemigo

El Enemigo was founded in 2010 by Adrianna Catena, daughter of Nicolás Catena Zapata, along with Alejandro Vigil, the award-winning head winemaker of Bodega Catena Zapata. The El Enemigo vineyards are located in the Piedemonte al Sur region of Mendoza, south of Luján de Cuyo, at high altitudes between 930 and 1,470 metres. El Enemigo was born from a desire to carve their own path and a shared obsession with terroir.
