Product Notes

Librandi Ciro Bianco Segno wine offers a delightful experience for wine enthusiasts. Produced in the sun-kissed vineyards of Southern Italy's Calabria region, this elegantly crisp white wine has a harmonious balance of citrus, green apple, and floral aromas. Combining fresh acidity with a subtly smooth finish, Segno boasts an intricate flavour profile that balances the intensity of its grapes lucratively. Its medium body and lively structure lend it enough character to match a varied range of dishes. Librandi Ciro Bianco Segno wine is an indubitably great choice for those who appreciate exceptional Italian wines.

Tasting Notes

Obtained from single-variety Greco Bianco grapes, this is a fresh, fruity and pleasant white that brings along echoes of summer, grilled fish and holiday happiness.

About the Winery

Librandi

Librandi is a prestigious winery situated in the picturesque region of Calabria, Italy. The winery is renowned for its rich, time-honoured tradition and innovative technical approaches to wine production, marrying modern technology with deep-rooted Italian wine culture.

The winery was established in the 1950s by two brothers, Antonio and Nicodemo Librandi. Driven by their passion for wine and an eagerness to revitalise the Calabrian wine industry, they put in great efforts to develop high-quality, region-specific wines. Today, the business is managed with the same profound passion by the next generations, upholding the Librandi family standard of dedication and quality.

Librandi vineyards span approximately 350 hectares, ripe with grape varieties that include both indigenous and internationally recognised ones. The estate is well-acknowledged for cultivating frequent Calabrian varieties such as Gaglioppo and Magliocco. The winery also experiments with international varieties to create unique blends, adding a modern touch to their wines.

The winery utilises the latest technology in vinification, bottling and ageing processes without forgetting the organoleptic character of their wines. In recent years they have also invested in organic farming methods to protect their vineyards biodiversity and environment’s health! Besides, they received several accreditations and awards, acknowledging their commitment to quality and sustainability.
