Product Notes

Librandi Gravello Val di Neto Rosso is an exquisite Italian red crafted in Calabria. This wine, with its full-bodied richness and velvety texture, is a harmonious blend of Gaglioppo and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. Aged in French barrels, it exudes an elegant bouquet of dark cherries and spices, with undertones of oak and vanilla. On the palate, it exhibits beautifully concentrated flavours of ripe fruits and a smooth, lasting finish. The Gravello Val di Neto Rosso is a fabulous wine, perfect for pairing with robust meat dishes or simply to savour in the company of good friends.

Tasting Notes

This wine was created in the late 80s from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Gaglioppo. It immediately became one of the company's premier wines and a symbol of Calabria, which was just beginning to open up to the international market. We are very fond of its fancy name, evoking complexity and gravity on one hand while suggesting lightness and spontaneity on the other: a link between two opposites that best represents our wine-making philosophy.
