Product Notes

Martín Códax Espumoso Albarino is an effervescent Spanish wine hailing from Rías Baixas, Galicia. This sparkling gem combines vibrant citrus notes with hints of crisp apples, ripe pears, and a subtle saltiness; a testament to its Atlantic Ocean influence. Produced from 100% Albariño grapes, it is characterised by a refreshing acidity, exciting finesse, and a zesty, lingering finish. The distinguishing bubbles add an enticing complexity to the wine without foregoing its classic Albariño traits, making it a fantastic companion to seafood or tapas. A bottle of Martín Códax Espumoso Albarino offers the taste of Galician sunshine at any time of year.

Tasting Notes

The apperance is bright, clean and with golden reflections. Citric and fruity (green apple) nose, with an important balsamic note (aromatic herbs…). The varietal aromas are perfectly balanced with the lees and bakery notes created during the aging. On the palate, the creaminess from the lees is prominent and it has a living bubble which is very well integrated, providing it with freshness and persistence.
