Product Notes

Mount Horrocks Clare Valley Nero d'Avola is a delightful Australian red wine, bursting with flavour from South Australia's famed Clare Valley. Displaying a ruby-red hue, its aroma has hints of ripe black cherries and spices, bringing a vibrant, Mediterranean influence to the glass. Beautifully balanced on the palate, it offers a rich, full-bodied indulgence with sweet dark fruits, soft spices, and elegant tannins. The finish is long and satisfying. This wine, produced organically by Mount Horrocks, is expressive, literally a mouthful of joy that elegantly showcases the potential of the Nero d'Avola grape in Australian terroir.

Tasting Notes

Bright red with lifted, generous aromas of red berry fruit and floral notes. The palate is bursting with cherry and other red berries, lively spice and a crisp, tangy edge. So fresh and zippy, with typical ‘Italian’ minerality, gentle but firm tannins and long-lasting fruitiness on the palate.
