Tasting Note

The 2020 vintage has aromas of fennel, fresh quince and ruby grapefruit. On the palate, notes of citrus peel and roasted almond are complemented by an inviting phenolic grip, full palate and jubilant freshness typical of this site.

Product Notes

Mullineux Schist Swartland Chenin Blanc is a wine of exceptional depth and nuance from South Africa's Swartland region. It is brimming with compelling aromas of ripe pears, lemons, and honey, beautifully intermingled with lively minerality indicative of its schist soils. On the palate, this medium-bodied white wine reveals a wondrously intricate character, combining a vibrant acidity with a rich, textured mouthfeel. Exuding an innate elegance, it culminates in a finish of superb length. This Chenin Blanc, pristinely crafted by the acclaimed Mullineux winery, is indeed a stunning reflection of the terroir and a remarkable inclusion in any enthusiastic wine collector's cache.
