Tasting Note

Bright ruby in colour, this wine has a lot of finesse and shows incredibly well. It is perhaps a more Mediterranean wine with many aromatic herbs and a more extroverted personality, thanks to the challenging conditions.

Product Notes

Pegaso Zeta Garnacha is a well-structured Spanish wine featuring lively notes of plum, cherry, and strawberry. Its smooth yet expressive character is underscored by delicate hints of herbs and spices, including cinnamon and thyme. With each sip, the wine unfurls bountiful flavours, culminating in a satisfying, long finish. Ageing in French oak barrels bestows a gentle hint of vanilla, harmoniously enhancing its complexity. The flavour profile lends itself to pairing with a wide range of dishes, making Pegaso Zeta an accessible choice for both casual dinners and special occasions. Its overall quality promises a memorable drinking experience.

About the Winery

Pegaso is a winery project led by Telmo Rodríguez in the Sierra de Gredos, near the village of Cebreros in Ávila, central Spain. It forms part of the wider Compañía de Vinos Telmo Rodríguez, founded by Telmo Rodríguez and his long-time collaborator Pablo Eguzkiza, with the aim of reviving historic vineyards and indigenous grape varieties across Spain.
