Product Notes

Groth Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon is a splendid, full-bodied Californian wine, offering an enticing bouquet of blackcurrants, plum, and subtle hints of cedar. This exceptional red wine benefits from a prolonged maturation in premium oak barrels, bestowing on it a robust complexity. It features ripe, rich tannins which harmonise delightfully with flavours of dark chocolate and ripe fruit, resulting in a notably pleasing palate. The finish is long and distinct. Astoundingly diverse, this wine is a fitting companion to a variety of gourmet dishes, particularly those red meats or strong cheeses. It's a superb choice for connoisseurs seeking a superbly balanced, luxurious tipple.

Tasting Notes

Darkly coloured, aromas of cassis, vanilla, and cedar, full and lush in the mouth with black plum, redcurrant and dried cherries, tannins fine-grained and elegant, a racy acidity underscoring the ripe fruit and very well-integrated oak, with a long, satisfying fin- ish.
