Product Notes

Domaine Pierre Luneau-Papin Le 'L' d'Or de Luneau is an exquisite French wine produced in the Muscadet region. Famed for its rich, complex flavours, this white wine reveals a mélange of citrus and ripe apple notes, underpinned by soft minerality. The wine is notable for its robust structure, resulting from a long period of maturation on lees. Its lingering finish adds depth to the palate, punctuating a truly sublime drinking experience. Harvested from old vines, this meticulously crafted wine is an eloquent testament to the winemaking finesse of the Luneau-Papin family. A glass of this wine embodies a taste of traditional French viticulture.

Tasting Notes

Proof that Muscadet can age. Bread/brioche, also sea air/salt smells, Muscadet is subject to Atlantic influences. On the palate the wine has a terrific saline attack, bristling acidity balanced by a real creaminess and underpinned by a taste of stones and shells.
