Product Notes

Domaine Thomas Morey Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Macherelles is a sublime white wine from Burgundy, France. It boasts an enticing nose of ripe pear, lemon zest, and subtle buttery notes that beckon a taste. On the palate, this wine offers a delightful balance of acidity and minerality, rendering bright citrus flavours and a lingering almond finish. Aged in French oak barrels, it gains complexity and richness without overpowering the elegant profile. Best enjoyed with creamy dishes and white meats, this Chardonnay-based wine epitomises the finesse of French winemaking. A luxurious bottle to savour, truly.

Tasting Notes

Also fermage purchased grapes from 30 to 40 year old vines. Very mineral on the nose. On the palate, preserved lemon, salt and butterscotch, too. Baby back acids, with a salty and caramelized finish.
