Product Notes

Antinori La Braccesca Achelo is a classic Syrah wine, hailing from the historical Antinori's estate in Tuscany, Italy. This delightful red wine presents a deep, ruby-red colour with an aromatic ensemble of black fruits, spices, and slight hints of vanilla. On the palate, it's elegant, well-structured, offering a firm tannin profile coupled with an alluring, complex fruit maturity. The wine's robust, lingering finish makes it an exquisite companion for your meats and aged cheeses. Expertly crafted, the La Braccesca Achelo brilliantly fuses tradition and innovation, successfully encapsulating the essence of Tuscan winemaking. It's a truly impressive specimen of the Syrah varietal.

Tasting Notes

The 2016 Achelo shows an intense ruby-purple color. The nose offers notes of spices in excellent balance with aromas of red currants and blackberries. The palate is supple, with soft tannins well integrated with the notes of liquorice and red fruit, and the finish and aftertaste are long and savory.
