Tasting Note

The 2016 Botrosecco shows a ruby red color. The nose is rich and intense and is characterized by aromas of wild blackberry jam and hints of caramel along with well balanced balsamic sensations, eucalyptus and mint. The impact on the palate is fruity and enveloping with velvety tannins and a pleasurable finish and aftertaste of chocolate and candied cherries.

Product Notes

Antinori Le Mortelle Botrosecco wine is a distinguished product of Italy's renowned Antinori Vineyards. This wine strikes an exquisite balance of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, grown in the fertile Mortelle estate in Tuscany. It presents a deep ruby red colour, offering an expressive bouquet of red fruits, enriched by subtle spicy notes. Its flavour profile reflects a perfect harmony of acidity and tannins, culminating in a pleasingly long finish. Botrosecco promises a full-bodied and complex taste for true connoisseurs. It's been matured impeccably, making it an excellent choice to accompany red meat dishes and mature cheeses.
