Tasting Note
A very deep garnet colour, expressive and ripe on the nose, with incredible intensity showing off the quality of black fruit with a hint of liqueur. Remarkable development in the glass, without loss of its fruity intensity. Resinous and lactic tertiary notes add to the aromatic expression and balance.
Product Notes
Bodegas Emilio Moro Malleolus de Valderramiro is an esteemed Spanish wine from the Ribera del Duero region. This tantalising red boasts character and complexity, made entirely from Tinto Fino grapes from a 90-year-old vineyard. Its vivid ruby-red hue is testimony to its opulent character, revealing intense, mature dark fruit flavours combined with spicy notes and subtly integrated tannins. It has a profound nose of ripe blackberries, herbs and hints of minerality that lead to a rich, velvety palate. Aged for 22 months in French oak barrels, the wine has an admirable balance of fruit, spice and power that adds to its regal persona. A wine for special occasions.
