Tasting Note

On the nose, juniper and black pepper awaken the senses. Garnets glitter in the glass, while flavors of cranberries and raspberries glisten on the palate. After aging in 2-year old American oak for 14 months, hints of marionberry pie wrap up a long and lingering finish.

Product Notes

Bogle Vineyards Old Vine Zinfandel is a Californian red wine with a character as deep as its roots. The wine surprises with a bewitching bouquet of ripe blackberries and plums, rounded by delicate notes of spiced chocolate. On the palate, it exhibits robust flavours, yet remains finely structured, displaying jam-like fruit tones with a hint of black pepper. Each sip lingers wonderfully, creating a long finish. Aged in American oak for 12 months, this Zinfandel delivers a velvety mouthfeel, rich complexity and a dash of enchanting old vine intrigue. Ideal for pairing with hearty dishes and meaty stews.
