Tasting Note
Fine definition on the nose with a touch of apple blossom alongside buttery pastry and fine lemon zest. Extract and structure at the heart of this bring freshness and zip. A fine mineral layer below the fruit. This has some body but also impressive intensity and drive. A very well-situated Monopole lieu dit from the mid-slope, on the same level as Perrières, that shows more intensity and precision than most Meursault villages
Product Notes
The Chateau de Meursault Meursault Clos des Grands Charrons is a distinguished offering from the historical vineyards of Burgundy. This fine French wine beams with a radiant golden hue and tantalising aromas of ripe fruits and vanilla, hinting at its ageing in quality oak. On the palate, its complexity unfolds with a mélange of citrus, toast and mineral flavours, layered amongst a rich, opulent texture. Its finish is exceptionally long and refined, outlining its superb quality. Balanced, elegant, and unfailingly luxurious, this wine is a testament to the splendour of the Meursault appellation. A true connoisseur's delight indeed.
