Tasting Note

It has a bright vivid bouquet with perfumed dark cherry and blueberry scents, a hint of pencil lead in the background. The palate is medium-bodied with a mineral-driven opening. Harmonious in the mouth and disarmingly silky in texture do not let its second wine status get in the way of noticing the structure towards the finish. This is a very well-crafted Blason d’Issan.

Product Notes

Chateau d'Issan Blason d'Issan Margaux wine is an exquisite second wine from the esteemed Chateau d'Issan estate. This French red wine from the Margaux region is strikingly elegant, endowed with ripe blackcurrant aromas, hints of tobacco and finely integrated oak. It boasts a sterling balance of soft tannins and vibrant acidity that leads to a long, sophisticated finish. This wine's opulent flavour profile and smooth texture is a result of its blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, producing a deep, complex bottle that pairs wonderfully with red meats and cheeses. It's truly a testament to the mastery of Bordeaux winemaking.
