Tasting Note

Silky tannins, not a word I am using often with this vintage (and one that I see only after tasting in bottle that I also used during the En Primeur tasting note). The emphasis is on blue fruits, black truffles, chamomile tea and bitter chocolate, with blueberry, cloves, liqourice root and rose petals, slender fruit structure but full of finesse and pleasure

Product Notes

Château La Fleur-Pétrus Pomerol is a regal, full-bodied red wine hailing from the Pomerol region of Bordeaux, France. Boasting a vibrant ruby hue, it exudes a tantalising bouquet underscored by dark fruits, truffle, and delicate floral notes. The highly refined tannin structure dovetails impeccably with flavours of ripe berries, plums, and sophisticated smoky undertones. With its lingering finish and impressive balance, this delightfully complex yet harmonious velvety offering embodies the quintessence of fine Pomerol claret. Perfect for special occasions, it effortlessly elevates any gourmet dining experience. An age-worthy wine, each vintage beautifully reflects the nuances of its terroir.

About the Winery

Château La Fleur-Pétrus

Located in the esteemed French region of Pomerol, Château La Fleur-Pétrus is a winery steeped in history and longevity. This prestigious estate was bought in 1950 by Jean Pierre Moueix; however, its legacy traces back to the early 19th century when it was named after an adjacent vineyard, the illustrious "Petrus".
