Tasting Note

Bright and clear pale yellow, with expressive notes of apricot and honeysuckle. The palate displays a vibrant freshness balanced by a core of expressive stone fruit culminating in an energetic, saline finish.

Product Notes

Château La Verrerie Hautes Collines Viognier is an exquisite French wine displaying distinct elegance. Connoisseurs appreciate its vibrant golden hue and floral, peachy aroma. Upon sipping, you'll experience a well-structured, full-bodied palate with evocative notes of ripe apricots, honey and underlying minerality. Given its delightful mix of richness and freshness, it pairs brilliantly with seafood or rich cream-based dishes. This particular Viognier subtly captures the unique character of the Luberon region, reflecting its sun-drenched fields and cool nights. Unquestionably, it's a beautiful testimony to Château La Verrerie's enduring passion for winemaking.

About the Winery

Château La Verrerie

In 1981, Jean-Louis Descours discovered Château La Verrerie while searching for a project to pursue after retirement. Captivated by the estate’s potential, he acquired the then 20-hectare property and, together with his son Gérard, undertook its revival. A new winery was built, additional vineyard parcels were acquired, and the family committed themselves to a single goal: producing wines of quality and distinction. The estate’s first vintage was released in 1985.
