Tasting Note

The 2021 Larcis Ducasse is deep garnet-purple in colour. It needs a swirl or two to release the most gorgeous perfume of rose oil, cinnamon toast, and kirsch, leading to a core of raspberry coulis, juicy blackberries, and fragrant soil. Medium-bodied, the palate is soft-spoken, with lovely freshness and plush tannins framing the mineral-laced red and black fruits, finishing long and perfumed. - Lisa Perrotti-Brown, The Wine Independent

Product Notes

Chateau Larcis Ducasse 1er Grand Cru Classé is a prominent name in Saint-Emilion vintages. With opulent notes of lush dark fruits, sweet cherries, and bold spices, this wine has a strong, nuanced flavour. Its velvety tannins balance out with a striking minerality that keeps the wine fresh while delivering an expansive finish. Matured traditionally in new French oak barrels, it reflects a brilliant sophistication. Its remarkable texture, depth, and complexity truly encapsulate its rich terroir. A harmony between tradition and modernity, it’s an essential choice for fine-wine lovers.
