Product Notes

Colene Clemens Vineyards Adriane Pinot Noir is an exquisite wine, originating from Oregon's distinguished wine region. This selection boasts of extraordinary balance and complexity. It graces your palate with notes of black cherry, currant, and warm spice, presented in perfectly harmonious proportions. Aged in French oak barrels, it imparts a subtle, toasted oak finish that punctuates its flavour profile perfectly. This full-bodied Pinot Noir elegantly expresses the earth-driven qualities that have made the grape so celebrated. Its vibrant acidity and robust tannins make it a perfect companion for a rich, hearty meal. Truly a wine connoisseur's delight.

Tasting Notes

Intense and spicy, this has a mix of cranberry, plum and cherry fruit, with perfectly ripened tannins and overall balance. There's a bit of heat in a dark chocolate finish, and in general this young wine should continue to improve with a little more time in the bottle

About the Winery

Colene Clemens Vineyards

Nestled in the verdant hills of Oregon’s Willamette Valley, the Colene Clemens Vineyards winery is a confluence of nature’s splendour and man’s deft craftsmanship. A pure embodiment of the quintessential vineyard experience, it is renowned for its impressive selection of Pinot Noir varieties and sustainable viticultural practices, so the American terroir is indeed apparent in every sip.

The history of Colene Clemens is a wonderful story of passion, resilience and an unerring commitment to creating world-class wines. The vineyard was born in 2005 when proprietors Joe and Victoria Stark embarked on the arduous task of transforming a neglected sheep farm into a thriving winery. Today, it stands as a testament to their vision and painstaking labour, with 50 acres of meticulously tended vines adorning the once desolate landscape.

The winemaking process at Colene Clemens Vineyards is nothing short of captivating. They follow a traditional approach, using native yeasts for fermentation and ageing their wines in French oak barrels to unlock complex, nuanced flavours. The prevailing philosophy; minimal intervention to ensure the fruit’s character shines through in the end product.

What sets this vineyard apart, however, is its wholehearted dedication to sustainable farming practices; the Stark's are stalwart protectors of the land, fervently implementing measures such as introducing predatory insects to naturally control pests and reducing water usage through dry farming methods.

A visit to the Colene Clemens Vineyards is a sensory delight, offering picturesque vistas of rolling vineyards, tastings of their acclaimed wines in the inviting tasting room and tours that reveal the intricate workings of a modern vineyard steeped in traditional methods. Above all else, it is the palpable sense of community, the shared appreciation for exceptional wines and the tranquillity of the lush surroundings that create an atmosphere, thats almost, magnetic.

A name synonymous with quality, integrity and an unrivalled passion for viticulture; Colene Clemens Vineyards winery, is an essential destination for wine aficionados worldwide.
