De Trafford Merlot is a sublime wine, originating from the tranquil winelands of South Africa. Boasting an exquisite deep crimson colour, its bouquet touts splendid oak undertones and sensuous black cherry and plum nuances. As a sensationally full-bodied Merlot, it offers robust dark fruit flavours accompanied by traces of spice, savoury olives, and dark chocolate on the palate. Aged in premium oak barrels, De Trafford Merlot is meticulously crafted for supreme complexity and lengthy finish. The wine's enchanting depth and velvety tannins make it a perfect companion for hearty meat dishes. An unforgettable Merlot that captures the quintessence of its terroir.

Tasting Notes

Vibrant red berry with refined cut grass, violets and subtly spiced nose. The palate is medium bodied with lovely fine, dry tannins and a refreshing, long finish.
