Tasting Note

Quite deep coloured for nebbiolo, the deep dark fruit is plump yet sleek. Black plum, cherry and a hint of smoke on the nose lead to a palate with a creamy feel to it, with exuberant cherry and cassis fruit with hints of violet and mint. Full bodies and powerful, yet supremely elegant.

Product Notes

The Diego Conterno Barolo Le Coste di Monforte d'Alba is an Italian gem with a rich bouquet of roses, violets, and tar. It unveils layers of intense red fruits and hints of spices, pursuing an extraordinary balance between elegance and power. The wine's charm lies in its complex palate, skilfully interwoven with silky tannins and a persistent finish. Aged expertly in oak barrels, it offers a robust flavour profile reminiscent of Piedmont's picturesque vineyards. This Barolo truly stands as a testament to Diego Conterno's excellent winemaking legacy. Enjoy responsibly with a hearty beef stew or mature cheeses.
