Tasting Note

The 2023 Maranges La Fussières 1er Cru Blanc comes from 1.5 hectares of vines on shallow soils. It has quite a complex bouquet with linden, orange pith and light waxy aromas that discretely unfold in the glass. The palate is saline and fresh on the entry, well balanced with fine depth, though it perhaps does not quite muster the requisite mineralité on the finish

Product Notes

Domaine Bachelet-Monnot La Fussière 1er Cru Maranges Blanc is a remarkable French wine crafted in the Bourgogne region. It's distinguished by its crisp whiteness, with an enchanting aroma of ripe peaches, honeysuckle, and citrus fruits amalgamated with mineral undertones. The palate is voluptuous and full-bodied, showing well-balanced acidity and distinctive minerality, ensuing in a refreshing and lingering finish. This wine is radiantly expressive of the region's terroir, showcasing the winemaker's meticulous attention to detail. Ideal to be served chilled, it pairs wonderfully with seafood, cheese or fine gourmet dishes, enhancing the dining experience.
