Product Notes

Domaine de Montille Meursault Les Perrières 1er Cru is a quintessential French white wine which epitomises the lush, mineral-rich charm of Burgundy. The wine unfolds an opulent palate of ripe pear, apple, and tropical fruit flavours, backed by an elegant minerality. Its time on oak lends it a sophisticated richness, underscored by well-balanced acidity delivering brightness to each sip. This 1er Cru carried from esteemed Perrières vineyard, is celebrated for its longevity and evolving complexity. It is the confluence of skilled winemaking, an esteemed terroir and time that gives this wine a reverential status among wine connoisseurs.

Tasting Notes

An ever so slightly muted nose, the right side of reduction that serves to keep the wine fresh. There is more expression to the palate, which is fleshy, full of minerals, butter, hazelnut and stone characteristics. A structured, well-rounded and balanced Perrières. From the higher part of the Perrières vineyard, so particularly mineral even for Perrières. Aged in 20% new oak barriques, so there is minimal oak influence on the flavour of this wine.
