Tasting Note

A lot of substance here for a Bourgogne. Tactile, smooth-textured flavours of melted butter and roasted nut character, encircled by crisp, fresh citrus fruits. Plenty of wine for the money. A beautifully-made, accomplished Bourgogne from the Chassagne and Remigny communes aged in 8% new oak barrels.

Product Notes

Domaine Paul Pillot Bourgogne Blanc is a prodigious French white wine, showcasing a refreshing, high-quality embodiment of the iconic Bourgogne Blanc. Brilliantly golden in colour, this wine pulsates with classic notes of crisp green apple, ripe pear and citrus zest, harmoniously entwined with subtle hints of brioche and vanilla. The flavours are further accentuated by its elegantly balanced acidity and slightly creamy texture. Its enchanting bouquet and delightful finish make it an excellent companion to poultry and seafood dishes, particularly on leisurely summer evenings. Overall, a truly delightful and refreshing wine worthy of the Bourgogne Blanc legacy.
