About the Winery

Domaine Tollot-Beaut

Domaine Tollot-Beaut, situated in the heart of Burgundy, France, has been known for its high-quality wines since its beginning in the 1880s. As a pioneer in bottling its numerous domain wines, Tollot-Beaut was able to attract a wider audience and export its wines internationally.

This historic winery, spread across twenty-four hectares, is currently managed by Nathalie Tollot and her cousins Olivier and Jean-Paul. They are the fifth generation of Tollots in charge of the winery, ensuring that their heritage remains intact. The winery possesses vineyards in the best parts of Burgundy including Corton-Charlemagne and Clos du Roi. Their primarily red wines are celebrated for their strong varietal character, depth, and precision: a reflection of the vineyards' prime locations.

Domaine Tollot-Beaut follows traditional winemaking techniques, aided by modern technology, Their wines generally undergo fermentation in open-top wood fermenters before ageing them in oak barrels, with the amount of new oak varying based on the vintage and appellation. This enables each wine to express a unique blend of the grape's primary characteristics, coupled with the essence of the terroir.

Visitors to the Domaine will be taken in by its rustic charm, coupled with the visible professionalism exhibited in every corner: Be it the meticulously maintained vineyards, the spotless production areas or the warm, inviting tasting room. Despite its age, Domaine Tollot-Beaut remains forward-thinking in its practices, continuously striving for excellence throughout the wine production process. From vine to bottle, every step is handled with immense care and attention to detail, guaranteed, to reveal the ultimate essence of Burgundy. The winery's devotion to quality above all else has undoubtedly earned it a place among the classics of Burgundy.
