Tasting Note

Ciabot Mentin is a luminous garnet red in colour. There are typical Barolo characters of ripe red fruit, rose and spice on the nose. The palate is intense and well-balanced, and the finish long.

Product Notes

From the outstanding vineyards of Piedmont, Italy comes Domenico Clerico Barolo Ciabot Mentin. This exquisite Barolo embodies elegance and finesse with a compelling complexity. Its deep garnet hue seduces the eye while intoxicating aromas of dark cherries, truffle, and liquorice tease the senses. Structured and full-bodied, it is velvety on the palate, unveiling delicate layers of cooked plums, spice and earthiness that linger in a satisfying finish. This beautifully balanced wine, with its firm tannins and crisp acidity, has maturity and class that befits an exceptional vintage. Undoubtedly, a captivating and expressive representation of Nebbiolo grapes.
