Product Notes

Bodega Aleanna El Enemigo Semillon wine is a perfectly crafted libation originating from Argentina's Mendoza region. It is admirably complex with riveting citrus flavours of fresh lemons and sleek minerality. As a bright yellow colour entices one, its opulent floral character, evocative of jasmine, leaves the nose captivated. This wine undergoes meticulous fermentation in French oak barrels, contributing tantalising hints of vanilla and toasted almonds to its delightful palate. Replete with balanced acidity and a persistent finish, El Enemigo Semillon pairs marvelously with seafood or white meats. It's indeed the perfect companion to a well-curated dinner.

About the Winery

El Enemigo

El Enemigo was founded in 2010 by Adrianna Catena, daughter of Nicolás Catena Zapata, along with Alejandro Vigil, the award-winning head winemaker of Bodega Catena Zapata. The El Enemigo vineyards are located in the Piedemonte al Sur region of Mendoza, south of Luján de Cuyo, at high altitudes between 930 and 1,470 metres. El Enemigo was born from a desire to carve their own path and a shared obsession with terroir.
