Tasting Note

A crystalline colour which remains very youthful; a lively, brilliant, and alert pale green with hints of lemon yellow with a silvery sheen and dynamic and dashing legs. The aroma is floral and fruity; impulsive spring flowers: lily of the valley, primrose, lemon balm, cardamom, pear, white peach, fresh mint with an overall accent that is both refreshing and pure. The flavour stays elegantly on the palate highlighted by a nice dashing liveliness and a delicious, round and aromatic finish.

Product Notes

Famille Hugel Classic Pinot Gris is a lavish Alsace wine boasting an illustrious golden hue. It notes of fresh fruit, such as pear and peach, and subtle hints of smoke and spice on the nose. Upon tasting, a richly textured, superbly balanced wine reveals itself. Offering a taste that is boldly dry and unerringly zesty, it lingers on the palate with a hint of minerals. This pinot gris's extraordinary depth and intricacy are ideal for special occasions and are especially well-suited to complement a variety of gourmet dishes. A true French classic, it is a must-try experience.
