Product Notes

Giesen Estate Riesling is a delightful New Zealand wine, graced with a light straw hue. It exudes fresh and vivid notes of lime, apple, and floral fragrances, sparking invigorating sensory experiences. On the palate, this medium-bodied wine unfolds an impressive blend of juicy sweetness and a compelling acidic balance, granting a refreshing appeal. With an undercurrent of minerality and a long, harmonious finish, it's a veritable treat. Highly versatile, Giesen Estate Riesling pairs wonderfully with a wide range of cuisine but particularly sings with seafood or spicy dishes, making it a crowd-pleasing choice for any gathering.

About the Winery

At the heart of the globally renowned Marlborough region in New Zealand nestles the acclaimed Giesen Winery. Founded on the combined enthusiasm of three German brothers - Theo, Alex and Marcel Giesen in 1981, this distinguished winery has grown stupendously, possessing vineyards in Marlborough, Canterbury and the Waipara region. Their passion for wine was inducted into them while growing up in Germany, characterised by vineyards on the banks of the picturesque Mosel River.
