Tasting Note

Vibrant and perfumed on the nose with notes of macerated strawberries, blood orange and red cherry; and with that distinct ‘ferric’ character, so often associated with this variety. Fresh and lively on the palate, very vinous and crunchy, supported by a rounded texture and persistent finish.

Product Notes

Graci Etna Rosso DOC wine is a sublime expression of Sicily's unique terroir. Originating from the volcanic soils of Mount Etna, it stands out for its elegant intensity. This medium-bodied red wine features a harmonious blend of Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio, presenting a bright ruby hue. With its complex notes of ripe red fruits, spices, and delicate smoke, it reveals balanced tannins and a memorable finish. Evoking scents of Mediterranean scrub, it encapsulates the character of the land, making every sip an explorative gastronomic journey. Graci Etna Rosso underscores its authenticity and deep respect for traditions.

About the Winery

Graci

Graci winery, nestled on the northern slopes of Sicily’s active volcano Mount Etna, effortlessly blends tradition with modernity. The vineyard, which was established in 2004 by Alberto Aiello Graci, is not just a place to produce wine, but rather a symbol of the region’s heritage. Sweeping over 24 hectares, Graci’s vineyards are host to a multitude of grapes, including the indigenous Nerello Mascalese and Carricante.
