Taste Profile
Tasting Note
Saturated medium ruby. Like a coulis of black fruits on the nose, complicated by suggestions of coffee, licorice and vanilla. Dense and chewy in the mouth, but with lovely freshness framing and lifting the crunchy black cherry, blackcurrant, licorice and mineral flavours. Finishes with a firm spine of rising tannins and some youthful austerity. Comes across as denser and longer than the regular Grand Village cuvee. - Ian d'Agata, Vinous
Product Notes
The Guinaudeau G'Acte 5 Bordeaux Superieur wine is a distinctive nectar hailing from France's renowned Bordeaux region. Boasting an elegant ruby red colour, it reveals a symphony of rich, ripe fruit flavours, mingled with hints of truffle and liquorice on the palate. This full-bodied tipple presents beautifully balanced tannins and an impressively long finish. Aging in French oak barrels lends complexity and a subtle smoky note to its profile. Serve with roasted meats or strong cheeses for a harmonious dining experience. Truly a delightful wine, presented as the quintessential embodiment of Guinaudeau’s expertise.
