Deep burgundy in colour with an intense black core and vivid purple highlights on the rim, the wine is clean, bright and notably dense, with richly coloured, slow-moving tears that signal concentration. The nose is powerful and focused, offering aromas of very ripe fruit, raisins and liqueur layered with dark chocolate, coffee and well-integrated oak from barrel ageing.
