Tasting Note

Deep golden in colour, with a complex and expressive nose of ripe pear, yellow apple and peach, layered with citrus peel, white flowers, toasted hazelnut and subtle honeyed notes. The palate is broad, rich and silky, showing concentrated yellow fruit and citrus balanced by vibrant acidity and a distinctive mineral tension. Toasted nuts and gentle savoury nuances add complexity, while a pronounced saline character brings freshness and definition. Powerful yet energetic, with a long, persistent mineral finish.

Product Notes

Maison Valette's Pouilly-Fuissé is a stellar ambassador for Burgundy's Chardonnay wines. Boasting a uniquely gilded hue and a complex profile, it captivates the senses with its sublime richness. Notes of crunchy apple, ripe pear and toasted hazelnuts fuse harmoniously with a creamy assertiveness and slight mineral undertone. Met by a light touch of oak, its extraordinary balance between crisp acidity and opulent buttery texture elevates it to an utter delicacy. Consistently well-crafted, Maison Valette's Pouilly-Fuissé lingers on the palate, encapsulating the essence of French winemaking. Ideal for celebrations or solitary pleasures alike.
